Mokry Dwór, Pomeranian Voivodeship

Mokry Dwór ( German: Wet Huben, Kashubian: Mokré dvor ) is a village with 218 inhabitants in the Polish community Pruszcz Gdański, Pomeranian province.

It is located southeast of Gdansk in the Vistula Delta. The time to the Polish part of Prussia (West Prussia) belonging wet Huben was the birthplace of the naturalist and ethnologist Georg Forster, whose father, Johann Reinhold Forster, mid 18th century, held the Protestant pastor of the village. Even Daniel Ernst Jablonski, court preacher in Berlin and at the same time senior ( Bishop ) of the Polish branch of the Moravian Church, was born here.
