Mölltorp

Mölltorp is a place ( tätort ) in the Swedish municipality Karl Borg about eight kilometers southwest of the town Karl Borg. It is located in the historic province of Västergötland and the County of Västra Götaland County.

Mölltorp located on the shores of the lake Kyrksjön. Culture of historic interest is the medieval church of Mölltorp.

Traffic

A rail link from Skövde Karl Borg was the Karlsborgbanan since 27 July 1876. Mölltorp had on this route a train station. The electrification of the single track was held in 1937 - the passenger ended after over 110 years from 1986 until 1993 freight still took place. . The tracks are still there.
