Monbach

The Monbach is on the main train Nine kilometers of creek on the eastern edge of the Black Forest in the district of Calw in Baden- Württemberg, which flows between Bad Love cell and sub- Reichenbach from right in the middle Nagold.

Course

Landgraben, from the right at about 500 m above sea level. NHN in the Schanz meadows about 2 km south of Neuhausen, 1,9 km long with 2.1 km ² catchment area. Arises at about 516 m above sea level. NHN on a wet meadow south of the road from Neuhausen to Weil der Stadt- Münklingen.
  • Wies inlet from right to about 523 m above sea level. NHN in the hallway corridor between the Hofgut Georgenau and Bad Love cell Unterhaugstett, 1,2 km long. Arises south of the farming estate at about 534 m above sea level. NHN.

Border demarcation

By 1945, the creek turned centuries represents the natural border between the states of Baden (country ) and Württemberg, today Baden-Wuerttemberg and marked largely the district course between Bad Love Zell and Neuhausen.

Nature

From the confluence of its headwaters the Monbach flows through the designated as a nature reserve Monbach, corn Graben and St. Leonhard source Monbachtal. It passes in a 350,000 years ago formed, romantic dingle, in which he falls over sandstone steps.
