Mónica Randall

Mónica Randall ( Julia i actually Aurora Sarasa; born November 18, 1942 in Barcelona) is a Spanish actress.

Life

Randall attended drama courses in Barcelona and made his debut on stage in comedies like Cena de matrimonios and Pisito de soltero. As an ensemble member to Alejandro Ulloa she was, among other things in Los intereses creados, Caminos de Damasco and El alma se serena to see.

1963 Randall was first seen on the big screen when she debuted in La Revoltosa by José Díaz Morales. In the following years they often played in adventurous substances, including a number of spaghetti westerns. From 1968, she specialized in almost the presentation cosmopolitan and independent women in Costumbrismo comedies. Titles such as Cristina Guzmán (1968 ) by Luis César Amadori, Verano 70 (1969 ), by Pedro Maso, Abuelo Made in Spain (1969 ) by Pedro Lazaga, Carola de día, Carola de noche ( 1969), by Jaime de Armiñán or Un adulterio decente (1969 ) by Rafael Gil cemented that reputation.

During the 1970s, she was frequently the opportunity to try out complex roles in major films. These include classics such as Mi querida señorita ( 1972) by Jaime de Armiñán, Raise ravens ... ( 1976) by Carlos Saura, Retrato de familia ( 1976) by Antonio Giménez - Rico ( for which she won several times) and La escopeta nacional (1978 ) by Luis García Berlanga. In 1986, she played for Carlos Serrano in Calé next to Rosario Flores.

In 1987 she played, again under De Armiñán the female lead in next Wed General Fernando Rey Fernando Fernán Gómez, Héctor Alterio, José Luis López Vázquez and Rafael Alonso. The film won the Grand Jury Prize leg Film Festival Montréal. For the first time civilians were allowed to stay in the Military Academy Zaragoza, were filmed as scenes of the film.

As early as 1964 Randall was also active for the Spanish television, where she took on in addition to their representational activities as moderation tasks. In addition to television films for series such as Estudio 1 and Novela she played for Teatro de siempre or Teatro de familia in classic plays by William Shakespeare, Jean Racine, Ladislas Fodor and JM Barrie. After thirty years Bühnenabistinenz Randall was 2009 Una comedia española by Yasmina Reza, directed by Sílvia Munt to see again in the theater.
