Monique van Vooren

Monique van Vooren ( born March 23, 1925 in Brussels, Belgium) is a Belgian film and television actress.

Career

Van Vooren was mainly in the 1950s and 1960s, actress in numerous international film productions like Tarzan breaks the chains (1953, with Lex Barker ) and Gigi (1958, with Maurice Chevalier ). In addition, they had one, far more successful, career as a " guest star " of various television shows and broadcasts; as 1968 in two episodes of the U.S. television series Batman. In 1973, she played her best known role as the Baroness Frankenstein, in the Italian-French co-production Andy Warhol's Frankenstein. In the same year, she appeared in a small supporting role in the Occupied with Liz Taylor film The rival.

Trivia

1953, she joined John Murray Anderson 's Almanac on Broadway.

In 1969 she was one of the jury members the Miss Universe.
