The Monte fasce, also Monte fascia, is a mountain in the Italian port city of Genoa. With its 832 meters height, it is one of the highest elevations in the catchment area of the city and dominates the cityscape decisive. He belongs to the mountain range of the Ligurian Apennines and forms the Parco Urbano di Monte fasce e Monte Moro ( to German: City Park fasce Monte and Monte Moro ).

The Monte fasce rises north of the western district Quarto dei Mille, Quinto and Nervi and shields it against the cold north winds. The summit is conical, like a volcano, and is about three kilometers from the Ligurian Sea.

At the top there are numerous television and radio relay stations of public and private providers. At the highest point of Mount fasce is a 14 -meter-high iron cross from the year 1900.

The nearby Prati di fascia are a traditional destination of the Genoese. There, the visitor opens a panorama of the entire city, with favorable weather conditions the island of Corsica and the mountain ranges of the Apuan Alps, the Alps, the Valais Alps and the Alps Lepontine are identifiable.

The Prati di fascia can be reached via the SP 67 ( del Monte fasce ) that connects the Genoese neighborhood Apparizione with the village Uscio. From there, a road leads to the summit.
