Montenegrin Cup
The Montenegrin Football Cup ( Serbo-Croatian Crnogorski Fudbalski kup / Црногорски фудбалски куп ) is the highest football cup competition Montenegro. After nearly 90 years, belonging to Yugoslavia, the Southeast European country became independent in 2006 after the separation of Serbia and Montenegro. Founded on 28 June 2006 Montenegrin Football Association Fudbalski Savez Crne Gore ( FSCG ) is responsible for the implementation of the competition. The trophy winner will receive a place in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League, if he has not already qualified for the UEFA Champions League. The previous finals were held in the pod Goricom stadium with 17,000 seats.
Current title holder (2013 ) is the FK Budućnost Podgorica.
