Morane-Saulnier AF

The Morane- Saulnier AF was a French fighter - biplane on 23 June 1917, its first flight. The two wings had a different span ( up more) but both were equipped with ailerons. The tail unit was normally built with oars and a small additional ventral fin. The armament consisted of a partially clad synchronized 7.7 mm Vickers machine gun. The Gnôme - Monosoupape rotary engine delivered 150 hp (112 kW).

Because of the SPAD S.XIII who was at that time in production, the AF was not pursued. The top speed was 207 km / h There was also a variant for the water use with a large main float and a small tail float named Morane -Saulnier AFH.
