Morgan Smyth lives in Vernon and starts for the Northern Michigan University. It participates in international cross-country race at the level of the Continental Cup and FIS races since March 2002. My first assignment was at a FIS race over five kilometers in Grafton, where she graduated as an eight -placed the same in the top ten. In 2004 she took part in the first National Championships in Rumford and the Junior World Championships in Stryn but without achieving significant results in any of the competitions. This changed neither at the Junior World Championships in 2005 in Rovaniemi even at the national championships at Soldier Hollow. Things went better at the Junior World Championships in 2007 in Kranj, where Smyth in Sprint could occupy the seventh place. It was not until 2008, with rank five over five kilometers to reach a first good results the cross-country skier at the U.S. Championships in Bozeman. Also, about 30 kilometers they came in Callaghan Valley as a tithe placed among the top ten. The end of 2008 abolished Smyth in Vernon as a runner sprinting their first podium finish in a race of the Nor- Am Cup. The U.S. Championships in 2009 brought with seventh place in the sprint again a top ten result. A little later, Smyth debuted in Vancouver with a sprint race in the Cross Country World Cup and won the first World Cup points equal to 25. At the next race, she was with Caitlin Compton 17 for a Team Sprint. In Liberec, the professional athlete in 2009 first participated in a Nordic World Ski Championships. There she won the inaugural World Cup in a pre-qualification for the 5 -kilometer race and thus qualified for the main event, in which she ran on the 51st rank.
