The Moss Rose is a football stadium in the English town of Macclesfield, Cheshire East. The football club Macclesfield Town receives in the stadium was built in 1891 his opponents to the games. The stadium has four stands today on the 6,335 places; of which 2,599 seats and 3,736 standing places are. The record attendance of 9,003 spectators dates of February 4, 1948, when Macclesfield Town in the second round of the Cheshire Senior Cup met Winsford United.

The venue consists of 1968 newly built grandstand Silk FM Main Stand; which is traditionally called London Road Stand. It has a covered patio area in the center and is the home fans available. The opposite stand Alfred McAlpine Stand was completed in 2001. In the seat grandstand is located lodges and catering. The covered Starlane HFS Loans stand on the south side comprises floor and seats. The rows of seats are arranged in front of the general admission lines. The Silk One end is an uncovered Admission Rank and is available for visiting fans ready. He is named after the nickname of the club, The Silkmen ( German Silk men) named. With greater demand and 403 seats in the main stand for the fans of the opposing team shall be released.

After the completion of the Alfred McAlpine Stand there were other plans; to renovate the venue of Macclesfield Town. In 2007, plans were unveiled for a new stadium in Macclesfield. However, this and other projects failed due to lack of funds. End of 2010, the Council of Cheshire East approved the redesign of the center of Macclesfield and the south of it located South Macclesfield Development Area. This area would be earmarked as the site for the new stadium. Currently, however, the club invested in the old venue; for season 2011/ 12 is replaced by the Moss Rose an office for ticket sales and a fan shop in Alfred McAlpine Stand
