Motograter

History

Foundation, Hugh Chardon and Indy (1995-2001)

Motograter was founded in San Antonio, Texas in 1995 by Bruce " Grater " Butler ( " Motograter " ), Joey " Smur " Krzywonski (percussion ), Chris " Crispy " Binns (drums) and Zak "The Waz " Ward ( vocals) founded. During the recording sessions for the first album ( Indy ) in 2000, Eric Gonzales ( electronics / samples) was added to the band. 2001 was added guitarist Neil Godfrey.

Motograter (2002-2005)

In 2002, Godfrey, Gonzales, and Zak left the band. Matt " Nuke " Nunes joined them as the new guitarist, Ivan " Ghost" Moody as a singer. In 2003, the album was released Motograter at a major label. It was the first album that contained correct guitar samples. Before the album was even released, you named a second guitarist, JR. Pause and dissolution (2005-2006)

Reunification, pre-release, and second album (2008 -present)

Angel was now the singer, Nuke and Tyler Hole guitarists, Mylon Guy bassist, drummer Twitch and Bruce played the " Motograter ". This band played a show in Las Vegas under the name "Out Of Curiosity " to test the new material live on an unsuspecting audience, before it was decided to return to take the name of Motograter. In this show the " Motograter " was not used.

Before playing another concert Bruce was replaced by Mark Nosler, whereby no more a founding member was now available. The sound of the band was now also extreme in comparison to earlier recordings. The current demos of the band include electronic sounds, but no percussion, as was previously the case. The use of a traditional bass gives the songs a different, deeper sound.
