Ghost Machine

Ghost Machine is a five piece progressive metal band from the USA, which was founded in 2005. The band consists of two members from Motograter, vocalist Ivan " Ghost" Moody, also singer of Five Finger Death Punch, and drummer Chris " Crispy " Binns and John Stevens of The Clay People.

History

Ghost Machine was founded at a meeting of Moody singer and guitarist John Stevens at XM Radio in 2005. Ivan's band Motograter, previously with Elektra Records, played live, as John impressed as a producer of the station, Ivan's vocals, was aware of him.

After many recording sessions, met drummer Chris Binns of Motograter and keyboardist, programmer and Eelktronikspezialist Brett Davis joined the band. A short time later, hardly even bassist Mike McLaughlin to the band.

The band released their eponymous album Ghost Machine on 26 July 2005 under their label Black Blood Records. The album was recorded by Pete Murray (Lo -Pro) co-produced and constructed.

On 21 December 2005 the label Corporate Punishment Records took the band under contract.

The second album Hyper Sensitive was published on 21 November 2006. The album contained ten new tracks that were not found on the previous album. The song " Siesta Loca " is part of the soundtrack for the feature film Saw III.

Style

The main musical influences of the band bands like Nine Inch Nails, Tool, The Cure and Ministry are called. The pieces contained melodic shares. The voice of singer Moody is compared with that of Peter Steele.
