The 1339 meter high Mount Mansfield is a mountain in the Green Mountains in the U.S. state of Vermont. He is the highest point in Vermont and is on the border of the two counties Chittenden and Lamoille. On the east side of the mountain is the Stowe Mountain Resort ski area. Viewed from the west or east is Mount Mansfield in the length drawn profile with a pronounced forehead (The Forehead, 1184 m), nose ( The Nose, 1228 m), lip, chin ( main peak, 1339 m) and Adam's apple ( Adam's Apple 1257 m). In the north joins nor the Bear Head ( 1192 m).
