Mourad Meghni (* April 16, 1984 in Paris ) is a French -born Algerian football player.

Club career

The attacking midfielder started playing football at Clairefontaine. At age 16, he moved to Italy to FC Bologna, but was also being courted by bigger clubs like Manchester United and AC Milan. In Bologna he played in the U-17 team and promptly won the youth championship Allevi.

But on this positive start was soon followed by the first uncertainty. Bologna players observer who had Mourad Meghni and other young players gathered around him, was dismissed and the debtor of his football players had to leave the club.

He wanted to sign already at English club Fulham FC, as finally offered him a contract extension until 2007.
