Moustapha Salifou
Moustapha Salifou ( born June 1, 1983 in Lomé ) is a Togolese football player who comes in the midfield to use.

Association
From Togo to the second division in Europe
Moustapha Salifou played until 2002 in his home country of Togo in Lome Modèle de before he moved to Germany and signed with the then second division side Rot-Weiß Oberhausen. There he came in the next three years to 33 appearances in the Bundesliga 2 and scored a goal. After the descent of the Oberhausen in 2005 Salifou moved on loan to the French second division club Stade Brest, but where he came up with only seven appearances in the 2005/06 season. From the 2006/07 season played Salifou for the Swiss second division side FC Wil. In his first season in Wil he came to 19 inserts. Here, he scored twice. The following season Salifou still came to four missions before he left the club in August 2007.
Substitute in the Premier League
August 31, 2007 Salifou, who received because of its playmaker qualities after the 2006 World Cup the nickname " Togolese Zidane " was, after a successful trial in the English Premier League for Aston Villa and signed a one year contract there. At its debut, however Salifou came only in January 2008. On January 12, 2008 Salifou debuted for Aston Villa when he Matchday 22, where the club from Birmingham with a 3-1 victory against Reading FC in the 90th minute for John Carew came on. After a successful season at Aston Villa, his contract was extended for a further three years.
Return to Germany
On November 22, 2011 Salifou returned to Germany and signed at third division 1 FC Saarbrücken, where he was presented as a gain. In Saarbrücken, he met Jürgen Luginger, which he knows from common times for Rot-Weiß Oberhausen. His debut for the Saarland capital club he celebrated on 26 November 2011. 's 3-1 victory on matchday 18 against Kickers Offenbach he came on in the 80th minute for Marcel Ziemer. After the season he left for an unknown destination Saarbrücken.
National
For the Togolese national Salifou debuted at the age of 17 years and has played 34 international matches, where he scored four goals. In addition, he was in the squad for the 2006 World Cup in Germany, where he participated in all three games of the Togolese.
