Movement for Social Humanism

The Dwischenie za social Humanizam (GSH, also Dviženie za social Humanizăm transliterated, Bulgarian Движение за социален хуманизъм, German Movement for Social Humanism ) is a progressive, sozialhumanistische party in Bulgaria.

History

The DSH was established in 1995 as a successor party to the BSDP of Secretary General Stefan Radoslawow. The Coalition for Bulgaria to the DSH belongs together with a number of other leftist parties of Bulgaria, won the 2001 parliamentary elections 17.1 % of the vote and 48 of the 240 parliamentary seats. On 25 June 2005, the coalition built its stake to 34.2 %, ie 82 out of 240 seats, and could form the government after the failure of NDWS.

Political Influence

The party is represented in Bulgaria as part of the Coalition for Bulgaria in Parliament.
