The Moika (Russian Мойка ) is a river in Saint Petersburg in Russia. It flows into the Neva.

Description

The length of the river is 4.67 km, it is up to 40 m wide, the maximum depth is 3.2 m. The Moika stems from the Fontanka. Beginning of the 18th century, it still flowed out of a swamp near the Campus Martius. In 1711 it was connected to the Fontanka. On the artificial island between the Fontanka, Moika, and the Swan Canal and Neva is the summer garden.
