Mrlina in Kopidlno

The Mrlina is a right tributary of the Elbe river in the Czech Republic.

Course

The Mrlina rises south of the hamlet Příchvoj the community Markvartice on the eastern slope of the hill Cakan ( 398 m ) in 376 m At its upper course leading to the southeast are the places Nadslav, Střevač, Chyjice, Dolany and Kostelec. In Jičíněves the river turns to the southwest and follow the places Žitětín, Bartoušov, Pševes, Kopidlno, Hasina, Rožďalovice, Podlužany, Ledecký, Nové Zámky Křinec, Zábrdovice, Vestec, Maly Vestec, Netřebice, Rašovice, Šlotava and Budiměřice.

Below Budiměřice flows since 1930, fed by the Cidlina Sansky kanál one. After 49.6 km, the Mrlina opens in Nymburk at a height of 182.7 m in the same one. The catchment area of the river is 656.7 km ².
