The Princess Maria is a ferry, which is used by the Russian St. Peter Line on 21 April 2010 at the traffic between Helsinki and St. Petersburg. For the first time in the modern history of visiting Russia on board the ship for 72 hours without a visa, as well as on board the SPL Princess Anastasia. The sister ship is Silvia Regina.

History

The ship was built in 1981 under the name of the Wärtsilä shipyard Finlandia in Turku, Finland and the former shipping company Effoa (today Tallink Silja Oy, see Silja Line) delivered. The Finlandia is driven by 6 May 1990 this name, when it was replaced by the Silja Serenade. From 1990 to 2010, the Queen of Scandinavia ferry was used on different lines and under different flags. Since 10 April 2010, she goes under the Maltese flag with Valletta as a home port.

In summer, the Princess Mary makes next to the service on the route Helsinki - Saint Petersburg cruises St. Petersburg - Helsinki - Stockholm - Tallinn - St. Petersburg.
