The Stena Saga is a Swedish ferry Stena Line. It operates between Oslo, Norway and Frederikshavn in Denmark.

History

The Stena Saga was originally built in 1981 as Silvia Regina Wärtsilä in Turku for the shipping company Stockholms Rederi AB Svea for Silja Line. After the launch on 21 October 1980, the ship on 28 April 1981 by Queen Silvia of Sweden was christened christening and later handed over a few weeks to the owners. As of June 1981 reversed the ship on the route Helsinki -Stockholm.

The ship was sold to Stena Line in 1991. It was rebuilt on the Schichau Seebeck Werft in Bremerhaven was renamed Stena Britannica. On 19 June 1991, was placed on the route Hoek van Holland- Harwich in service. As the great ship did not let on that route operate below cost, it has been used since 1994 on the route between Norway and Denmark.

Sister ship is the Princess Mary of St. Peter Line.
