Mu Arae d

My Arae d is an extrasolar planet orbiting the yellow dwarf My Arae every 9.637 days. Due to its low mass is assumed that it is a terrestrial planet.

Discovery

As the majority of exoplanets was also discovered that using the radial velocity method. The planet was of Nuño Santos et al. discovered in 2004.

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits its star at a distance of about 0,186 astronomical units at an eccentricity of 0.09 and has a mass of about 9.537 Earth masses and 0.03 Jupiter masses.
