MuÄŸlaspor

Muglaspor is a Turkish football club from Muğla. Their home games discharged from the Green-Whites in Muğla Atatürk Stadium.

History

June 16, 1967 founded the then Governor of the province of Muğla, Hasan Orhan Basa the club Muğlaspor'u Kurma ve Yaşatma Derneği (German Association for the creation and Weiterführund of Muglaspor ). Motivated by this initiative attempted to realize a society for the continuation of the notables of the city. Succeeded within two weeks that the three long existing clubs Spor Kulübü Gençlik (1940 based), Yılmazspor Kulübü (founded in 1951) and Yolspor Gençlik Kulübü ( founded in 1963 ) broke up and were united under the name Muglaspor.

For the 1967/68 season the club started in the then third- highest division of Turkey, today's TFF Lig 2 Here, the club played six seasons and dismounted in the amateur league. 1981, the third- highest division was abolished and instead the second- highest league today TFF 1 Lig expanded. As part of this expansion also associations of provinces were included who had not yet boast no professional team in the two top divisions. So Muglaspor played the next 14 seasons in the TFF 1 Lig For summer 1995, the club was relegated, but managed immediately resurgence. After a year in the second Lig the club rose again from the 2nd Lig. Here they played the next ten game periods and dismounted in the fourth highest Turkish League, TFF Lig 3. Just one year later, the club adopted by the Turkish professional football and put up at the regional amateur league. A season later tried and failed to re- ascent. The rise was then followed by the direct re- descent. Since the summer of 2010, the club in the regional amateur league Bölgesel Amatör Ligi is active.
