Muhittin Taylan

Muhittin Taylan ( born July 13, 1910 in Sivas, † 19 January 1983) was a Turkish lawyer and 1971-1975 President of the Turkish Constitutional Court.

Career

Taylan graduated in 1933 graduated from the law faculty of the University of Ankara from. In 1934 he was appointed prosecutor in the district Tercan in Erzincan province, and in 1955 appointed a member of the Turkish Court of Cassation.

On 1 December 1965 he was appointed after a nomination by the University Council as a full member of the Constitutional Court and there, in 1971 was elected president. He held this office until 14 July 1975.
