Mulranny

Mallaranny ( Irish: in Mhala Raithní ) is a town in County Mayo in the province of Connacht in Ireland. It is located on the isthmus between the Curraun Peninsula and the Irish mainland, the Clew Bay separates from the Blacksod Bay.

Traffic

Mallaranny is located on the N59 national road that leads to the north and west towards Ballina, and south towards Westport. The R319 starts here and leads over the Curraun peninsula on the Achill Iceland.

Events

Each year the " Mediterranean heath - festival" ( Mediterranean Heather Festival) instead, which deals with the flora of the area. Thus, besides other exotic plants here, for example, giant fuchsias.
