Muravyov-Amursky Peninsula

Geographical location

The Murawjow - Amur Peninsula (Russian Полуостров Муравьёва - Амурского ) is located at the Peter - the - Great Bay in the Russian Far East. It separates the two side bays called Amur and Ussuribucht that have geographically nothing to do with the eponymous rivers.

The city of Vladivostok is located at the southern end of the peninsula, which was named after the Governor-General Nikolai Murawjow - Amur 1859.
