Musashi University

The Musashi University (Japanese武 蔵 大学, Musashi daigaku ) is a private university in Japan. It is located in Nerima, Tokyo.
History
The University was established in 1922 by entrepreneur Kaichirō Nezu (根 津 嘉一郎, 1860-1940; see Nezu Museum ) was founded as Musashi High School (武 蔵 高等学校, Musashi Kōtō Gakko ). She was the first private 7 -year-old high school (ages 12-19 ) in Japan and served the richer Tokyo sons as a preparatory course for the Imperial Universities.
After the Pacific War, the high school was reorganized under the new Japanese educational system. It was to the ( new ) Musashi High School (1948, 3-year school), Musashi -School (1949, 3 - year) and Musashi University (1949, 4 - year). The three schools of the Nezu Foundation (学校 法人 根 津 育 英 会) worn.
The Musashi University was opened ( Economics ) with a faculty. She added the faculties added: Humanities (1969) and Social Sciences ( 1998).
