Musical! Die Show

Musical! The show is a talent show of the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation, whose objective is to find the Austrian musical star by audience voting. The finale was held on 11 January 2008, in which Vincent Bueno emerged as the winner.

Mission

The casting for the show started in September 2007. Many interested parties signed up to an audition. Through preliminary rounds the top 10 were selected by the judges.

The winner / In should occur according to ORF in Viennese production of the Queen musical We Will Rock You, an agreement between the ORF and the organizers BB promotion and the United Stages of Vienna was short but not materialize. On average 553,000 viewers were in the eight editions, which represents a market share of 25 percent. In the Voting mission there were an average of 613,000 (35 percent market share). Especially great was the interest (50 percent market share) among young women. The finale pursued up to 924,000 spectators at the first deselection and the final duet, it was at 22.25 clock on average 898,000 viewers (43 percent market share).
