Bergamo airport

Myair ( My Way Airlines) was an Italian low-cost airline based in Milan, based on the Bergamo airport.

History

The airline was founded in 2004 and adopted on 17 December of the same year, flight operations with three leased Airbus A320 -200. A week later myair had received her own pilot's license and was thus able to start flight operations with its own aircraft. Myair was supported by the Italian airline Volare Airlines. Furthermore myair held a share of 20 % of the Swiss airline Darwin Airline.

In July 2009, the Italian Civil Aviation Authority of myair withdrew the operating license due to doubts about the economic performance, according to which the cost of running and an announced recapitalization could not be detected. The company was therefore able to perform since no flights. In January 2010, the company was finally declared by a court in Vicenza bankrupt.

Objectives

From Italy to destinations in France, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Morocco and Spain were served.
