Myn M. Hoffman

Myn M. Hoffman ( born May 12, 1883 in Bradford, Illinois, † January 5, 1951 in Bronxville, New York) was Superintendent of the Navy Nurse Corps of the U.S. Navy.

In 1915, Hoffman graduated from St. Joseph 's Hospital School of Nursing in Denver, Colorado as a nurse. In 1917, Hoffman joined the U.S. Navy Nurse Corps and was appointed in 1919 to the Chief Nurse.

During the First World War and after Hoffman served in various positions in the Washington DC In 1934, Hoffman was appointed deputy and appointed fourth Superintendent of the U.S. Navy Nurse Corps a year later. In October 1938 Hoffman was treated as a Lieutenant Commander from active duty to retirement.

Myn M. Hoffman died on 5 January 1951 at the age of 68 in Bronxville, New York U.S. state.
