Mystery Jets

The Mystery Jets are a British indie rock band from London.

History

Blaine Harrison and William Rees had known each other since childhood and founded eight years along with Blaine's father Henry Harrison, the band The Misery Jets. The " misery flyer " actually came from a newspaper article about the planes that are flying over their home Twickenham, which is under the flight path of Heathrow. For a write error then was the final name of the band Mystery Jets.

To the trio came with 12 years of guitarist Kai Fish, who retrained for bass players, and a few years later, the trained drummer capital Trivedi completed the five -piece band. In 2005, she got a record deal and were able to celebrate with their first releases successes. Their third single, You Can not Fool Me Dennis was the same year her first chart hit and the successor Alas Agnes is the first top - 40 hit. Their debut album Making Dens released in March 2006 and the first single The Boy Who Ran Away reached number 23 their highest ever chart position.

With the release of Twenty One and two years later they were able to build on the success of their debut album. With Young Love, in which the British singer Laura Marling participated as guest vocalist, and Two Doors Down, they had two more Top 40 hits.

Before her third album, the senior Henry Harrison retired from touring, the band remained however unchanged in the background in the studio. The third album Serotonin appeared in 2010. Flopped and it was only a week in the UK charts. It produced no hit singles.
