Nabi Avcı

Nabi Avcı ( born October 8, 1953 in Bilecik ) is a Turkish politician of the Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi.

Life

Avcı studied at the Faculty of the Technical University politics of the Middle East in Ankara. His studies he completed in 1978., He obtained his doctorate in 1986. He taught Philosophy and Sociology of Communication at Anadolu University in Eskişehir and at Bilgi University in Istanbul. Avcı was under the pseudonyms Abdullah and Enes Karaca Harman he published newspaper articles author and advisor to the Zaman newspaper and presenter of the TV channel 7. Under the pseudonym Molla Kasim, he wrote humorous posts.

He also worked as an adviser to the education minister and the Prime Minister. In 2011 he was elected to the ACP for Eskişehir in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.

Avcı, as the successor of Ömer Dinçer Minister of Education in Turkey in the Cabinet Erdoğan III since 24 January 2013. Previously, he was Chairman of the Education Committee of the Parliament. Avcı is married and has five children.
