Nadezhda Muravyeva

Nadezhda Konstantinovna Murawjowa (Russian Надежда Константиновна Муравьёва; born 30 June 1980 Bratsk, Soviet Union) is a Russian handball player. Their body length is 1.86 m.

Murawjowa that for the Russian club HC Lada Togliatti ( shirt number 8) plays and runs for the Russian national team, is mostly used in the right rear area.

Nadezhda Murawjowa debuted in 1996 for AKVA Volgograd in the first Russian league. There she won the 1999, 2000 and 2001, the Russian Championship. When she was only runner-up in 2002, she moved to the new master HC Lada Togliatti. With the women from the Motor City, she won the Russian Cup in 2003, 2004 and 2005. She then missed the entire 2005/06 season due to a maternity leave. Upon her return, she moved in 2007 to the final of the EHF Champions League. In 2012, she won the EHF Cup with Lada.

Nadezhda Murawjowa has been disputed over 100 caps for the Russian national team. With Russia, it was founded in 2001 in Italy, in France in 2007 and in China in 2009 world champion; in the European Handball Championship Women 2000 she won the bronze medal. The 2005 World Cup in their own country as well as the 2006 European Championships in Sweden they missed due to a maternity leave. At the 2008 European Championships she won the bronze medal again and was also voted the best defender of the tournament. In summer 2012 she participated in the Olympic Games in London.
