Nadine Trintignant

Nadine Trintignant ( born November 11, 1934 in Nice; actually Nadine Marquand ) is a French screenwriter, film director, film producer and author.

Life

Nadine Trintignant comes from a family of actors. Like their older brothers, the actor Christian Marquand and Serge Marquand, she took an early interest for the cinema. Since she also likes to write, she initially began working as a screenwriter. In the credits of her early films from 1961 it is still listed as Nadine Marquand.

In April 1971, she signed the manifesto of the 343, an action against the French feminists, abortion law and for self-determination. This action was a model for the German equivalent, we have drifted! June 1971.

From 1960 to 1978 she was married to Jean -Louis Trintignant, with whom she has three children. Their daughter Pauline died in 1969 but the sudden infant death syndrome. Pauline's death was in her feature film This happens only addressed the other from 1971.

In July 2003, she met another blow. During the filming of a TV movie about the life of writer Colette in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius her daughter Marie Trintignant was badly hurt by her lover, the rock singer Bertrand Cantat, in the course of a dispute by blows to the face, after which they fell into a coma and six days later died. They later turned the film over and published the memoirs Ma Fille, Marie, in which they described the perpetrators as murderers.

Their third child, son Vincent Trintignant, also became an actor. She has collaborated frequently with him and cast him in their films made for television.
