The family Pyramid ( Original: L' Été prochain ) is a French film drama directed by Nadine Trintignant with Claudia Cardinale, Fanny Ardant and Jean- Louis Trintignant from the year 1985.
Action
Jeanne Severin has just completed her sixth child into the world when she decides to leave her husband Edouard. While this is a good father but a lousy husband who has a mistress after another. The eldest daughter Dina also has marital problems. She is married to the writer Paul who can not meet their expectations, which is why they constantly argue. Dinas younger sister Sidonie is a talented concert pianist who suffers before every performance pathological stage fright and marries rushed out of frustration.
The family eventually threatens to break apart. As Edouard, who lives alone now, suffers a brain hemorrhage and is admitted for a corresponding operation in a hospital on the French Riviera, the family comes together again to assist Edouard.
