Naidangiin Tüvshinbayar
Naidangiin Tüwschinbajar (Mongolian Найдангийн Түвшинбаяр, born June 1, 1984 at Sum Saichan, Bulgan Aimag ) is a Mongolian judoka (weight class light heavyweight - up to 100 kg), the Beijing Olympic champion in 2008. He is the first Mongol who has ever won an Olympic gold medal for his country.
Achievements
- In the Asian Games 2006, he finished fifth in the heavyweight division and the open weight class.
- In 2007, he scored at the Asian Championships silver and bronze in 2008.
- His greatest achievement was the gold medal, which he achieved in Beijing 2008 in the fight against the Kazakhs Aschat Schitkejew.
- In London in 2012 he won the silver medal.
