Najoua Belyzel

Najoua Belyzel (* December 15, 1981 in Nancy as Najoua Mazouri ) is a French singer with Moroccan roots. It makes especially pop music with dance elements.

Life

After her graduation she started in 2001 to study law at the University of Nancy, broke from this but to accept a job in the music industry. She participated in several auditions and was eventually taken at the group Benoît, with which they the successful single Tourne -toi Benoît, which deals with jingoism and transvestism brought out. Due to a lack of success with other singles Benoît however disbanded. She was also involved in many music projects.

Later, she met the songwriter Christophe Casanave, with whom she Stella, one of the songs on their debut album, worked. Christophe Casanaves work has already been used by the popular French artists Steeve Estatof and Marc Lavoine.

The first single from Gabriel was released in French-speaking area (France, Switzerland, Belgium) in autumn 2005. This single landed in France at number three on the Top 40 charts. The work on her first album Entre deux mondes are finished, the album was released on 23 May 2006 as a digipack.

Their second album " Au féminin " will be released on November 23, 2009. The first single, " La bienvenue ", was released on March 30, entitled " Au féminin " as the B-side.
