Geography

Nalbach lies in the valley of prims, a right-side tributary of the Saar. The highest point is the 414 m high Litermont.

History

Nalbach was first mentioned in the year 953. The village Nalbach gave the Archbishop of Trier in 1048 the local St. Simeon pen. This came to pass, though the Duke of Lorraine was the patron, in 1357 in the protection of Pfalz- Veldenz of which went over the screen bailiwick to the Elector Palatine. Sculpture:

Art lovers can marvel at the Sculpture many wooden sculptures of the Bavarian artist Örnie Posch man. Litermont Museum and Historical Park:
