Namaqualand

Namaqualand ( Afrikaans: Namaqualand ) is a region in South Africa and Namibia on both sides of the lower reaches of the Orange River. The southern part of Little Namaqualand corresponds, in large parts of the district in the Northern Cape Province Namakwa. It is based together with the northerly Namibian Great Namaqualand main settlement area of ​​the Nama, one of the first in southern Africa, immigrated from Central Africa tribe.
