The Namjagbarwa ( Tibetan: " thunderbolt ") is a 7782 meter high peaks of the Himalayas. It is located in the district of Medog (me tog rdzong མེ་ཏོག་རྫོང་. / Motuo Xiàn墨脱 县) in the district of Nyingchi of Tibet Autonomous Region in the People's Republic of China.

The Namjagbarwa is the most easterly located mountain with a height of over 7600 meters. It lies on the great bend of the Yarlung Zangbo ( Brahmaputra ). He was seen in 1913 by FM Bailey on his Tsangpo expedition became the first Europeans. To the north of this bend is the 7294 with hardly less high Gyala Peri. From 1976 up to the first and to date only ascent by a Sino- Japanese expedition Bianba Zaxi and another in 1992, the Namjagbarwa was the highest unclimbed mountain in the world.
