The Nameless (also Namenlosbach, nameless creek or Lamelofe called ) is a 8.4 km long, south-eastern and orographic right tributary of the Negro in Hochsauerlandkreis in North Rhine -Westphalia ( Germany ).

Course

The Nameless arises and passes in the region of Sauerland in the Rothaargebirge Rothaargebirge Nature Park. Your source lies on the winter Hochfläche near the northern edge of the core city of Winterberg to about 649 m above sea level. NHN.

The Nameless initially flows in a westerly direction to the mouth of the coming of the south Büre. Then she runs northwestward gradually northward through the west-southwest of the Northern Light ( 792.2 m) lying Silbach, a northwestern district of Winterberg, where it is also called Lamelofe and fed by the coming of the Nordhelle Strülleken. Protected areas and

The source and the upper reaches of the Nameless is in the nature reserve ( NSG) Nameless - valley system ( CDDA-Nr. 389 837, reported in 2008, 89 ha in size). A small NSG part is the same as the Fauna-Flora -Habitat - area mountain meadows at Winterberg ( FFH-Nr. 4717-305; 4.87 km ² ) were reported. In the NSG and FFH many rare plants and animals of the Red List are present. In it there are extensive damp and wet meadows that are locally interspersed with rushes and seggenreichen source swamps. The Nameless and their tributaries are entirely undeveloped in the NSG. The stock of spruce was reduced there in winter 2008/ 09 on a spruce plot. Meanwhile, the North Rhine -Westphalia Foundation has purchased more than 40 hectares in the nature reserve at the request of the Association for Nature and Birds in Hochsauerlandkreis. The surfaces of this foundation are extensively grazed by cattle according to the specifications of the cultural landscape care program of Hochsauerlandkreises.

Fauna

A special feature of the valley, which is surrounded by wooded hillsides, is the occurrence of the Whinchat ( Saxicola rubetra ) and meadow pipit. In addition, the creek to find the dippers.
