Nao Kodaira

Nao Kodaira (Japanese小平 奈 绪Nao Kodaira, born May 26, 1986 in Chino ) is a Japanese speed skater.

Nao Kodaira gave her World Cup debut at the first station of the 2006/07 season in November 2006 in Heerenveen. The sprint specialist was able to establish right off the bat in the world rankings and reached at their first race, an eleventh place. In December, she ran at the World Cup in Harbin for the first time among the top 10 (one eighth place on 500 and 1000 meters).

Kodaira is sechzenfache Japanese champion on the sprints and the sprint four-way battle.

At the Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver in 2010 she won the 12 and over 1000 and 1500 meters respectively the 5th place over 500 meters; in the team pursuit, she won the silver medal along with Masako Hozumi and Maki Tabata.
