The Cyclamen Daffodil (Narcissus cyclamineus ) is a plant of the family Amaryllidaceae family ( Amaryllidaceae ). It is known to botanists for a long time. First pictures of this style are from the year 1608. This type is provided by the botanist John W. Blanchard in the section Pseudonarcissus.

Description

The Cyclamen Daffodil grows as a perennial herbaceous plant, reaching heights of growth up to 20 inches. The leaves are narrow, keeled and bright green. The perianth of the yellow flower is cyclamen -like bent backwards. The trumpet is very narrow, snagged waist like before they scored twelve times on the edge to come apart again. The flowering period is from March to April in culture.

Distribution area

The species is native to Spain and Portugal. There she prefers to grow heavy and slightly acid soils. It flowers there as early as February.
