Nashat Akram

Nasch'at Akram (Arabic نشأت أكرم, DMG Naš ʾ at Akram, according to the English transliteration Nashat Akram also; born September 12, 1984 in Hilla ) is an Iraqi football player. The midfielder currently without clubs belongs to the Iraqi national team.

Career

Association

With twelve years Akram began his career at Baghdad traditional club Al- Quwa Al Jawiya. In 1997 he moved to Al- Zawraa and played one more season, more stations were again Al- Quwa Al- Jawiya (1998/ 99) and Salahaddin FC (1999 /2000). Between 2000 and 2003 he played with Al- Shorta before he Iraq to Al -Nasr left in Saudi Arabia after the Third Gulf War. At Al -Nasr Akram played for two years before moving to league rival Al -Shabab Riyadh from 2005. In the same year Nasch'at Akram was voted the best foreign player in the Saudi league. With Al -Shabab he was 2006 Saudi champions.

After the Asian Cup 2007, which won Akram with the national team of Iraq, he moved to Al Ain Club in the UAE league. There he shows consistent and good and in 2008 was sold to Al- Gharafa in Qatar, where he plays along with the Captain of the Iraqi soccer team Yunis Mahmud. In the meantime, there was speculation about a change Akrams to Manchester City, this failed, however, because he was not allowed to work in the UK. After another season at Al Gharafa he signed on 19 May 2009 a three -year contract with the Dutch first division side FC Twente Enschede. For Twente he gave on 10 July 2009 in the pre-season match against Borussia Moenchengladbach his debut. In Twente, however, he could not prevail and denied during the first season only ten games; his contract was canceled after just one season on June 10, 2010.

National

At the age of 18 years Nasch'at Akram was a member of the Iraqi U-19 selection who could won the title at the Asia Cup 2000. The following year, he also participated in the Junior World Cup in Argentina. His first cap for the Iraqi national football team, he played on 5 October 2001 against Saudi Arabia. In 2002 he won the West Asian Championship with Iraq. As part of the Olympic team, he also took part in the 2004 Olympic Games, in which Iraq took fourth place. In Asian Cup 2004 he was a performer and completed all four possible games in the tournament, where Akram was scored a hit. In 2007, the new collection was the final of the West Asian Games. This was spanked by the Iranian national football team 1-2. He experienced the most success in Asia Cup 2007, which he won as a player with the Iraqi team. Here, the midfielder played in all games and missed a minute. Nasch'at Akram has been completed 109 caps and scored 17 goals. (October 2012)

  • In May 2008, Akram received an invitation from the Saudi Arabian club Al -Nasr. This organized in honor of Majed Abdullah a game against Real Madrid. With the game on the 15th of May, the offensive player scoring a goal and put another on. After 75 minutes he was substituted.
