Nassim Ben Khalifa
Nassim Ben Khalifa ( born January 13, 1992 Prangins ) is a Swiss footballer of Tunisian origin. It is most commonly used in the midfield as playmaker or as a striker.
Life
The parents of Nassim Ben Khalifa emigrated from Tunisia to Europe and went to Switzerland. They were settled in the French speaking part of the country. Nassim Ben Khalifa himself was born in 1992 in Morges.
Career
In the club
There he began in Stade Nyonnais playing football and joined the youth first to FC of England and finally to FC Lausanne-Sport. In July 2008, he then joined the Grasshopper Club Zurich and came to the end of the season 2008/ 09 for his first professional assignments as a substitute. His first goal he scored at the start of the next season in the 90th minute for the 3-1 final score in the home match against FC Sion, seven minutes after coming on.
In February 2010, the VfL Wolfsburg Ben Khalifa announced for the 2010/11 season to have committed. The Lower Saxony, he received a four-year contract and was used in the first round only the second team in the Regionalliga Nord, where he came up with six applications where reach two goals to him.
Since Ben Khalifa came on a single application in the first team in the first round, he was awarded on 14 January 2011 for one and a half years on the 1st FC Nuremberg. There he first completed games in the 2nd team as well as the U-19 juniors. On 5 March 2011, he finally came to his debut in the Bundesliga team 's 5-0 win against FC St. Pauli in which he also assisted the interim 4:0 by Christian Eigler.
For the season 2011/12 Ben Khalifa returned to Switzerland and signed a loan agreement with BSC Young Boys Bern. His first goal of the season, he scored 21 September 2011 in a 4-1 win over Neuchâtel Xamax, when he scored the 1-0.
25 August 2011 Ben Khalifa received in the second leg of the Europa League play-off against Braga, in the 62nd minute after the interim 1:1 by Emmanuel Mayuka, a sending off, for an alleged assault on Braga's goalkeeper Quim.
On 22 June 2012, the VfL Wolfsburg announced that Ben Khalifa will be borrowed for two seasons at the Grasshopper Club Zurich.
In the National Team
Ben Khalifa was appointed by the U-15 to U-18 for all Swiss junior team selection repeatedly. So, he took part with the U-17 at the European Championships in 2008 and 2009 and at the 2009 World Championships, where he won the title with his team. He came in all seven games from the outset to use, scored four goals, prepared three more and finished in choosing the best player of the tournament in second place. On 11 August 2010 Ben Khalifa debuted in a 1-0 victory for the Swiss national team over Austria.
