Natalia Dubova

Natalya Ilyinichna Dubova (Russian Наталья Ильинична Дубова; born March 31, 1948 in Moscow, Soviet Union) is a Russian figure skating coach.

Together with Vladimir Pawlichin she won the Soviet Championships in 1965 as Natalya Bach the bronze medal in ice dancing. In 1969 she began working as a trainer in the Sokolniki Arena in Moscow. In September 1992, she went to the USA and worked as a trainer in Lake Placid, New York and Stamford, Connecticut.

Dubova coached the following ice dance teams:

  • Marina Klimova and Sergei Ponomarenko ( 1979-1991 )
  • Maja Ussowa and Alexander Schulin ( 1980-1994 )
  • Oksana and Yevgeny Platov Grishchuk ( 1989-1992 )
  • Tatjana Nawka and Samuel Gesoljan
  • Galit Chait and Sergei Sakhnovsky
  • Shae -Lynn Bourne and Victor Kraatz

In the 2001 /02 season, she worked as a consultant for Marina Anissina and Gwendal Peizerat.

Dubova met her husband Semyon belite - Geiman, an Olympic medalist in swimming, when he came to one of their competitions as a sports reporter.
