Natalie Dormer

Natalie Dormer ( born February 11, 1982 in Reading, England ) is a British actress and model.

Life and work

Dormer completed her acting training at the prestigious London's Webber Douglas Academy, where were taught among other things, Rupert Friend, Minnie Driver, Matthew Goode and Hugh Bonneville as a performer. Away from her artistic work sings the 1.68 m great actress mezzo-soprano, is challenging and is a member of the London Fencing Academy.

Her film debut was the fluent French -speaking Dormer, 2005 in Casanova as Victoria, on the side of Heath Ledger, Jeremy Irons and Sienna Miller. Her role was initially thought only as a small supporting role, but she impressed director Lasse Hallstrom so much that he expanded her role and more comical parts brought in when he saw how well Natalie Dormer knew how to handle humor.

In the television series The Tudors, she took alongside Jonathan Rhys Meyers from 2007 to 2008 in 20 episodes the role of Anne Boleyn. Again, she appears in the last episode of the fourth season of the series as the ghost of Anne Boleyn. After the second season of the Tudors they often worked as a model and has appeared in numerous shows. In 2012 she took over the role of Margaery Tyrell in the second season of the HBO series Game of Thrones.

In August 2013 it was announced that Dormer is in the movie adaptation of the third part of the tribute of Panem - trilogy assume the role of Cressida.
