National Democrats (Sweden)

National Democrat Erna ( The National Democrats ) are a small political party in Sweden. They originated from a division of the Sverigedemokraterna (Sweden Democrats ) in October 2001., You are considered a party of the extreme right-wing spectrum. The party maintains contacts with several other right-wing parties in Europe, such as the Italian Lega Nord or the British National Party in the UK.

The youth organization of the party called Nationaldemokratisk Ungdom ( NDU; National Democratic Youth).

History

The National Democrat Erna were founded by Anders Steen, who was from 2001 to 2004 chairman of the party. Ideology

The ideology of the party is nationalist (or national democratic). Some salient features of the party program include:

Election results

The National Democrat Erna can only refer to local election successes. The country-wide support for the party declined steadily since 2002. In the last elections to the Swedish parliament in 2010 they reached only 0.02 % of the vote. In 2006, she had reached 0.06 %, in the elections of 2002, 0.08%.

In the local elections of 2002, they received a total of four seats in municipal assemblies; two each in the municipalities of Södertälje and Haninge, both of which lie south of the capital Stockholm. In the 2006 elections, they lost the mandates in Haninge, but retained in Södertälje. In addition, they won a mandate in the community Nykvarn, a neighboring municipality of Södertälje. At the 2010 elections the party lost easily in both communities, but was able to keep their seats.
