National Professional Paintball League

The National Professional Paintball League ( NPPL ) is one of several U.S. Paintball League and the largest seven - man team league in the world. The league is divided into four events, which take place at various locations within the United States. In 2009, the U.S. Paintball League ( USPL ) acquired the rights to the NPPL. The NPPL has been included so that in the USPL and is next to the Regional Championships ( Western Conference, Eastern Conference ) as a National Championship with 4 events (formerly 5) further.

Participation

Registration for each event is any international team allowed. Exception is the " Professional Division ", which consists of 18 selected, licensed professional teams. In addition, a registration fee of 3000-3500 U.S. dollars ( as of 2010) must be paid to the Professional Division.

Participants teams will be in proportion to their abilities, in departments ( divisions ) divided. The amount of the registration fee to be paid is determined by Division and filed.

Regulate

The game is played according to the basic principle of SupAir play.

The field size is in length 180 feet ( 54.864 meters) in width and 100 feet ( 30.49 meters). Play per game, two teams of seven players against each other. On the pitch itself coverages are in different shapes and sizes, which are placed symmetrically. 10 seconds before the game starts, there is an announcement, followed by a silent countdown. The players have with their markers touching the base of their team. After the 10 seconds the senior referee gives an audible start signal. ( By Startruf or operating a siren. )
