Neftchi FK (Fergana)
The FK Neftchi Fargona (Russian ФК " Нефтчи » Фергана ) is a football club established in 1962 from the Uzbek city of Fergana. The club currently plays (as of 2011 ) in the top division of Uzbekistan, the Uzbek professional football league. Play their home games from the club in Fargona Stadium. Was founded the club in 1962, but had during the Soviet era, hardly appreciable success and played mostly in the minor leagues. After the independence of Uzbekistan and with the introduction of the Uzbek League this changed. Neftchi was the first four years in a row champion of the country. There were two Cup wins in 1995 and reached even to the semifinals of the Asian Club Championship. The last track is from the year 2001. 2008 one was at the end of the third and qualified for the AFC Cup.
