Negoska

Negoska is a red wine grape that is grown exclusively in Greece. It is recommended there in the region of Macedonia, especially in the prefectures of Imathia, Kilkis Kozani. The late-maturing (about 30 days after Chasselas ) and grew vigorous variety produces fruity, low acid wines with an average alcohol content of about 12 volume percent. The wine is blended with, for example, the acid-rich grape Mavro Naoussis to Appellation Wine Goumenissa. Previously, the Negoska was also used as a table grape.
